In July, Dr. Amstadt attended the Airway Breathing Course for recertification for Conscious Sedation at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI.

On January 30, 2009, Dr. Amstadt spoke at the Minnesota Northwestern District Dental Society. His full day seminar entitled "Taking the Mystery Out Of Implant Dentistry" touched on several topics. Attending dentists were able to hear Dr. Amstadt speak about various types of implant cases from a single tooth to implant supported dentures and full mouth reconstruction.
