Full-Mouth Reconstruction

Missing teeth, extensive tooth decay and damage, and oral disease can destroy a smile. If your mouth has serious problems, you can reclaim total oral health, function, strength, and beauty. Dr. Amstadt offers full-mouth reconstruction plans to totally restore a seemingly hopeless mouth.

Treatment Planning
A comprehensive evaluation of your teeth, gums, jawbone, and existing dental work will help Dr. Amstadt determine the best treatment options for your case. We may take digital intraoral images, photographs, X-rays, and an iCAT for diagnostic purposes. Your occlusion (how your upper and lower teeth fit together) and jaw joint function will also be factors in treatment. Dr. Amstadt will talk with you about your goals and concerns. If you suffer from dental anxiety, or if lengthy visits in the dental chair would compromise your physical comfort, Dr. Amstadt may recommend conscious sedation. We want you to feel relaxed and confident during your full-mouth reconstruction procedure.

Fringe Benefits
Complex restoration of your smile will not only restore comfortable function, but you’ll look younger and feel better, as well. By ridding your mouth of disease, infection, and decay, overall health will be positively affected. Replacing missing teeth with dental implants, crown and bridgework, or dentures will provide underlying support for cheeks and gums, which will make your face fuller, more youthful. Dental implants will also allow you to chew more easily and comfortably. Halitosis (bad breath) is often caused by poor oral health, so full-mouth reconstruction could eliminate your mouth odor, as well. You deserve to look and feel your best, and Dr. Amstadt can help you get there.
